Praise the Lord all my life.
I will sing Praise to my God as long as I
live."
Psalm 146:2
As we approach this Thanksgiving season I am
reminded of the hymn by Fanny Crosby, "Praise Him! Praise Him!" We all
have so many reasons to give our thanks and praise to God. He alone is
deserving of our praise. As the songwriter has penned:
"Like
a shepherd Jesus will guard his children;
In His arms He carried them all day long.
For our sins He suffered and bled and died;
He is our Rock, our Hope of eternal salvation.
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Tell of His excellent greatness!
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Ever in joyful song!"
Can we do anything less than praise Him all the day long? It is my
prayer that you each experience the deep, deep love of Jesus each day.
I pray that each of you will have abundant time with your Saviour so
that you may call to memory all those things to be thankful for, not
just this Thanksgiving season, but every day that He gives us breath.
When we stop to think what Jesus has accomplished in the past and where
He is today, then our hearts can be lifted up and we can sing
triumphantly,
"Praise Him! Praise Him!"
